Since 2020, Gemini Entertainment has released more than 100 titles on DVD and Blu-ray, spanning cult horror, vintage sci-fi, arthouse gems, and underappreciated classics.
For many of the filmmakers we work with, a physical release is more than just a product—it’s a moment of validation. It’s the chance to hold your film in your hands, to see it on a shelf, and to know it will still be there tomorrow.
Why Physical Media Still Matters
While major studios scale back their disc operations, the demand from collectors, genre fans, and independent cinema lovers remains strong. Physical media:

We work closely with filmmakers to ensure each release meets high standards, from HD transfers and caption creation to custom key art and packaging design. For select titles, we include special features such as commentary tracks, interviews, and archival materials.
Japanese Blu-ray Releases
In addition to our North American output, Gemini Entertainment also collaborates on premium localized Blu-ray releases for the Japanese market, focusing especially on horror, sci-fi, and arthouse titles.
Through our partnership with Video Violence Releasing, a boutique distribution company based in Japan, we bring curated titles to Japanese audiences—fully localized with Japanese menus, subtitles, and packaging.
These editions cater to a passionate niche market and allow our films to reach new life in an international collector ecosystem known for its high standards and deep appreciation for genre cinema.

We ensure all our partnered filmmakers receive complimentary copies of any DVD or Blu-ray release of their film, along with the option to purchase additional units at wholesale for personal sales, events, or giveaways.
