Synopsis: Legend tells of the Earth’s first rulers – an ancient race of reptilian beings known as the Serpent People, who once held dominion over all humankind. But are they gone… Or merely hiding in plain sight? When Jan, a nearly blind concert pianist, regains his vision through a back-alley surgical procedure, he is placed under the outpatient care of the alluring yet mysterious Cleo. As his sight returns, so do horrifying visions – strange things lurking in the shadows, whispers of forgotten rituals, and encounters that defy reason. With each passing day, Jan feels himself irresistibly drawn to Cleo, even as he uncovers fragments of a conspiracy stretching back to the dawn of man. The evidence becomes undeniable: the Serpent People are real – and Cleo may be one of them.
